In an interview with the Globe and Mail (Canada), Prime Minister Scholz stated: "We have provided whatever (equipment) we have: anti-tank systems and air defense systems, mines, artillery, tons of ammunition and non-lethal aid... We have also provided more complex and valuable systems such as self-propelled howitzers, multiple launch rocket systems, air defense missile systems, and radar targeting systems for artillery. Some of these systems are so new that they are only produced in very small quantities, and some have not yet been put into service with the German armed forces."
According to him, the Ukrainian army is being trained to use new equipment in Germany.
Earlier, Russia sent notes to all countries, including the United States, about supplying weapons to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any shipment of weapons to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry warned that NATO member states were “playing with fire” by supplying weapons to Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the West’s provision of weapons to Ukraine does not contribute to the success of Russia-Ukraine negotiations and will have a negative impact./.
