(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 27, the working delegation of the Ministry of Transport (MOT) led by Deputy Minister Le Dinh Tho worked with the Provincial People's Committee on the results of the inspection of the implementation of measures to ensure traffic safety and order (TTATGT) of road transport and compliance with legal regulations on business and conditions for doing business in automobile transport in Nghe An province. Receiving and working with the delegation, on the provincial side, there was comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.

Pursuant to Decision No. 2781 of the Minister of Transport, the Inspection Team of the Ministry of Transport inspected the implementation of measures to ensure road traffic safety and compliance with legal regulations on business and conditions for automobile transport business at the Department of Transport and 5 automobile transport business units in the area. Through the inspection, it was found that the direction and organization of the implementation of measures to ensure road traffic safety and order in the field of road transport have achieved certain results.

However, the inspection showed that there are still some shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome, such as: The traffic safety monitoring department has not been fully and regularly implemented; many drivers continuously violate speed and driving time but have not been checked, detected and handled promptly; Some units do not pay insurance, do not organize periodic health check-ups for drivers and service staff on the vehicle according to regulations; The journey monitoring device installed on container trucks does not monitor and extract all the minimum information according to regulations...
