(Baonghean) - Implementing the National Target Program on Drug Prevention and Control for the period 2011 - 2015, the Program on Drug Addiction Treatment and Post-Rehabilitation Management for Drug Addicts in Nghe An for the period 2011-2015, on April 14, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 170/KH-UBND to implement the Program on Drug Addiction Treatment and Post-Rehabilitation Management for Drug Addicts in 2014.

Accordingly, localities continue to consolidate and improve drug addiction treatment boards at district and commune levels and drug addiction treatment working groups at commune level. Deploy tasks, assign drug addiction treatment targets for 2014 to districts, cities, towns, social labor education centers and allocate support funds to organize implementation. After completing the drug addiction treatment program at social labor education centers, drug addicts will be managed after treatment at their place of residence according to the provisions of Decree 94 of the Government. Local authorities with drug addicts after treatment reintegrating into the community need to develop a management and monitoring plan, assign tasks to coordinate with families of drug addicts after treatment to guide and help them reintegrate into the community sustainably; coordinate with vocational training facilities and businesses and economic establishments in the area to organize vocational training and create jobs for drug addicts after treatment.

The organization of drug addiction treatment in the community in 2014 was organized in a unified and synchronous manner and divided into 2 phases.

Phase 1, from March 1 to July 20, must fulfill at least the assigned target for 2014. Phase 2 from July 21 to the end of 2014. Districts, cities, and towns must complete withdrawal treatment for the number of people in the 2014 community drug addiction treatment target before September 30.
