Internet subscribers in Nghe An increase rapidly

(Baonghean.vn) – According to the Provincial People's Committee, by October 2015, the total number of converted internet subscribers in Nghe An reached 1,130,448 subscribers, with a density of 38 subscribers/100 people.

This figure shows a high growth rate in the number of internet users in Nghe An. As of October 2014, the total number of internet subscribers in the province was only 915,938, equivalent to a density of 31.2 subscribers/100 people.

As for fixed-line telephone subscribers in the province, there was a decrease compared to the same period. Accumulated to October 2015, the number of subscribers was estimated at 4,138,373, with a density of about 142.7 subscribers/100 people.

Meanwhile, by October 2014, the number of telephone subscribers in the province had reached more than 4.5 million, with a density of about 154.5 subscribers/100 people.

In general, the total revenue of the postal, telecommunications and information technology industry in the first 10 months of this year is estimated at nearly VND2,640 billion, reaching more than 78% of the plan.
