Love the verse, the song

(Baonghean.vn) - Du ca Viet - a reality TV show combined with live music shows produced by the Arts Department of Vietnam Television and Hoa Dang Media Joint Stock Company will officially start filming in Nghe An on the evening of August 20, 2015 at Vinh University.

With the name "Love for Vi and Giam folk songs", the program will be a place to honor the beauty of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs, where farmers have muddy feet and hands, where there are special fates that tie their lives to their homeland's Vi and Giam folk songs.

Hung Tan Folk Song Club was selected to participate in the program "Thuong cau vi, giam".

Vi phuong cay, Phu tu tinh tham and many other ancient Vi and Giam melodies will be present in the Du ca Viet - Thuong cau Vi and Giam performance on the evening of August 20 at Vinh University. The main characters of the performance are members of the Hung Tan Commune Folk Song Club - one of the most active clubs in teaching and preserving folk songs.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Tam - Vice President of Hung Tan - Hung Nguyen Folk Song Club shared: "I and the members of the Club are very happy and proud to participate in this program, because the Vi and Giam melodies of our homeland will be introduced to more friends through television. We will try to practice well to bring a meaningful program to the public."

The purpose of Du Ca Viet's programs is to cherish a journey through Vietnamese cultural regions to introduce the beauty of the regions, discover beautiful voices, artistic aspirations hidden behind simple lives, and unfortunate fates. The Du Ca Viet bus travels through 63 provinces and cities, to remote areas and soon to remote islands, and even abroad to bring great artists to the people through free, field live shows.

"Vi phuong xep" will be vividly recreated in Du ca Viet - Thuong cau vi, giam.

With Vietnamese folk songs in Nghe An, the program's goal is to find ancient folk songs - where the quintessence of Nghe An's character is contained, where there is love for work, love between couples, and highly educational teachings about husband and wife and filial piety.

Musician Le Minh Son - Artistic Director of the Du Ca Viet program confided: "I was very moved when I was able to return to Nghe An, directly listening to the ladies, the girls, the brothers and sisters who are farmers singing Vi and Giam. What I personally and the program want is to introduce to the audience the Vi and Giam lyrics that our ancestors left behind and want those who love Vi and Giam to continue to preserve and promote them."

Programs like Du ca Viet will contribute to honoring the beauty of Nghe An's vi and giam.

The humanity of Vietnamese folk songs is to discover rare voices, unexpected aspirations, hidden behind ordinary lives or special fates. With Vietnamese folk songs - Love about vi, giam will be the story of a special character - Mr. Nguyen Trong Kien - actor of the folk song theater troupe - Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Song Heritage. Vietnamese folk songs will tell the story of his life, about the hardships he had to go through but still devoted to the vi verse. The program is expected to be broadcast on VTV 1 and VTV4 at the end of September 2015.
