Russian Senator: Ukrainian President Couldn't Stop Donbass Shelling So He 'Played a Game'
Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on the video, in which Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky runs across a fountain in Mariupol.
“How cute and decisive,” Mr Pushkov said sarcastically on Twitter.
He stressed that with such actions, the head of state showed that he is incapable of anything else. In particular, according to the senator, Mr. Zelensky could not stop the shelling in Donbass, and therefore resorted to such “entertainment” for his citizens.
“He is a President just for show and entertainment,” Mr. Pushkov concluded.
Earlier, a video appeared online showing that, after his speech on Theatre Square in Mariupol, the Ukrainian leader decided to “shorten” the way to his car and, together with his bodyguards, run across the fountain.
