On the morning of June 21, the thematic supervision delegation of the Provincial People's Council chaired by Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, worked with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the period 2021 - 2025.
Working with the delegation were comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, together with representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Finance and the following departments: Rural Development, Forestry, Cultivation and Plant Protection, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Irrigation, Fisheries and Fisheries Control, Management of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality, Provincial Agricultural Extension Center, Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation, and the Office of the National Target Program on New Rural Development Coordination of the province.

A report from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shows that from 2021 to the end of 2023, the whole province will have 39 more communes meeting the standards.new rural, 81 communes meet advanced new rural standards, 12 communes meet model new rural standards.
There are 3 districts that have met new rural standards: Do Luong, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu and Hung Nguyen, and are completing procedures to submit for recognition.
Average income per capita in rural areas by the end of 2023 will reach about 40.5 million VND/year (an increase of 8.5 million VND/person/year compared to the end of 2020). 374 more gardens will be built according to new rural standards; 32 villages will meet new rural standards... The average criteria is 17.00 criteria/commune, an increase of 0.48 criteria/commune compared to 2020. 483 more products will be recognized as OCOP.
Up to now, the whole province has 319/411 communes meeting new rural standards (77.61%), reaching 90.88% of the plan.

The target is that by 2025, at least 340 communes will meet new rural standards, equivalent to 82.7% of the total number of communes in the province. At least 136 communes will meet advanced new rural standards, equivalent to 39.7% of the total number of communes meeting new rural standards. At least 34 communes will meet model new rural standards, equivalent to 10% of the total number of new rural communes. By 2025, 11 district-level units will meet new rural standards.

Another issue voters are concerned about is that after merging villages and hamlets, the situation of many abandoned hamlet cultural houses has not been resolved and resources have not been invested in building new cultural houses that meet new rural standards.
At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and sub-departments answered questions of concern to members of the Provincial People's Council's monitoring delegation.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the results achieved in the National Target Program on New Rural Construction of the province in the recent period.
Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi suggested that the agricultural sector continue to pay attention to the cooperative sector. Although the production scale and connectivity of OCOP products have made significant progress, it is necessary to further improve some key products to stand firm in the market to bring OCOP products into the supermarket system. Rural environmental issues, including the criteria for clean water in new rural areas, need to be resolved, including attracting businesses to invest. Village and hamlet cultural houses still have shortcomings.
Relevant departments and sectors continue to persevere in the spirit of building new rural areas, the current situation in some mountainous localities is showing a downward trend. The agricultural sector needs to proactively review the State's support policies to gather and propose the most realistic policies to the grassroots./.
