Expected to issue 41 resolutions in 2021
According to the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and localities at previous meetings ofStanding Committee of Provincial People's Council, it is expected that there will be 21 contents submitted to the Provincial People's Council to draft a resolution in 2021.
However, after reviewing and to meet development requirements as well as solve practical problems, the Provincial People's Committee continues to propose adding 16 contents to build resolutions for the Provincial People's Council.
At the meeting, the opinions participating in the discussion basically agreed with the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee and the sectors and localities; at the same time, it was requested that the Provincial People's Committee and the sectors consider the level, necessity as well as evaluate the implementation of the previous resolution for the replacement resolutions.

Regarding the two proposed contents of the resolution building in the Culture - Sports sector, including mechanisms and policies:conservation and restoration of monumentsin the province and collecting entrance fees to Nghe An Museum and Soviet - Nghe Tinh Museum need to be implemented and ensured in accordance with the correct procedures because it involves the mechanism, scope, objects, and budget sources that must be strictly guaranteed.
Or the proposed content of the resolution approving the project on organization, construction, operation and some regimes and policies for the militia and self-defense force, period 2021 - 2025 in the province also needs to be studied and clarified some contents.
Regarding the proposed content of the pre-feasibility study report on the priority infrastructure project and urban development adapting to climate change in Vinh city, it requiresVinh cityIt is necessary to speed up the procedures to submit to the Provincial People's Council at the earliest meeting.

Organizing the 20th session of the Provincial People's Council
Also at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the preparations for the 20th session (extraordinary session) of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021 and deployed a number of key tasks in April 2021.
Specifically, at the 20th session, the Provincial People's Council is expected to consider and decide on a number of issues under its authority related to socio-economic issues, personnel work, and consider and approve a resolution to establish the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to urge departments, branches and localities to proactively draft resolutions to ensure full procedures, especially speeding up the preparation of drafts expected to be submitted at the nearest meeting.
The Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches also need to continue reviewing to propose the Provincial People's Council to issue resolutions related to the regulations and mechanisms of the Central Government that the province needs to specify for implementation, especially related to the implementation of Resolutions No. 88/2019/QH14 on approving the overall project for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, period 2021 - 2030 and Resolution No. 120/2020/NQ-QH14 of the National Assembly on approving the investment policy of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, period 2021 - 2030.

Regarding the key content of April 2021, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the committees and the Office of the Provincial People's Council to closely coordinate with departments, branches and promptly advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to resolve issues to ensure the organization of the 14th session of the Provincial People's Council scheduled to take place in mid-April 2021 with quality; well prepare the content for the meeting to summarize the 2016 - 2021 term of the Provincial People's Council; carry out the contents of election work according to regulations...
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested the departments and the Office of the Provincial People's Council, based on the assignment to monitor the handling of petitions from sectors and localities, to continue to follow up, urge and advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to handle petitions that are slow to be resolved by departments, sectors and localities.
