Up to now, the Provincial Farmers' Association has had 506,947 members active in 467 Association bases and 5,609 branches, reaching 117% of the number of farmer households. Over the past 5 years, the association's work and the Nghe An farmers' movement have achieved many results, contributing effectively to the process of restructuring agriculture and rural labor, creating many specialized areas for agricultural commodity production, serving the processing and export industry; ensuring food security, creating many jobs for farmers, building an increasingly innovative rural face.
After listening to the report, the Standing Committee members of the Provincial Party Committee gave their opinions and suggestions to supplement the content of the political report at the congress and the direction and goals for the next term.

The orientation section should have a clear theme, future orientation, and the key issues of the term. The Association needs to pay attention to specific areas, mountainous areas, disadvantaged areas, and Catholic areas. Solutions to mobilize resources and encourage farmers to invest in production include solutions to transform labor structure, vocational training, apply scientific advances to agricultural production, convert crops and livestock, convert goods, build brands for agricultural products, and ensure food safety. It is necessary to set specific goals for each region and district, especially specific targets in building new rural areas, and the issue of linking "4 houses" to support farmers in developing production. The organization of the congress and the expected personnel need to be carefully discussed and considered so that the congress achieves good results.
