On behalf of the provincial leaders, reporting on the socio-economic situation and Party building work in the province in 2016, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh emphasized many outstanding results. The GRDP growth rate reached 7.5%, higher than the growth rate of recent years and higher than the average growth rate of the whole country.

Foreign affairs and investment promotion activities have been promoted by the provincial leaders with many positive and effective measures and solutions. Many partners from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand... have had working programs and discussed cooperation with the province. During the year, investment certificates were granted to 141 projects, with a total newly registered and increased investment of more than 35,441 billion VND. The cultural and social fields have been cared for and continued to create many changes. National defense - security, social order and safety are ensured.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh also affirmed: Party building work is given comprehensive attention in all aspects and fields.
