(Baonghean.vn) -On December 24, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee had a working session with the leaders of the Provincial Police to evaluate the situation and results of security work in 2012, and key tasks for work in 2013. Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial Police Department reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the security and order situation in recent times, some achieved and unachieved results in all aspects of work of the Nghe An Police force.

Concluding the working session, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized: The Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors needs to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the policies of the Party, the State, and the province in the field of ensuring national security, maintaining social order and safety, and building the People's Police force; improve work efficiency, coordinate with departments, branches, organizations and localities in ensuring security and order. Continue to innovate, improve the quality of work in grasping and handling the situation, fight to defeat the plot of "peaceful evolution", riots and overthrow of hostile forces, activities of spies, reactionary political opportunists, opposition, prevent internal and external connections, prevent the formation of opposition political organizations, and ensure security and order in the area. The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the Provincial Police Department to seriously implement 5 key and breakthrough tasks that need to be focused on leading and directing implementation in 2013 under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security.
Also at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agreed with a number of recommendations and proposals of the Provincial Police.
