Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh will deliver a speech on the topic “Preventing conflict escalation” at the 3rd Discussion Session.
On the morning of May 29, a high-ranking Vietnamese military delegation, led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defense, left Hanoi for Singapore to attend the 14th Asia Security Summit - Shangri-La Dialogue.

The 14th Shangri-La Dialogue took place from May 29-31 with 6 discussion sessions on the following topics: The United States and security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region; Methods of security cooperation in Asia; Preventing conflict escalation; China's role in maintaining security and stability in the Asia-Pacific region; Strengthening order in the Asia-Pacific region; Towards positive conflict resolution; Global and Asia-Pacific security challenges.
