Dead water monster washed up at Lach Quen estuary (Quynh Luu)
(Baonghean.vn) - In the early morning of June 2, people of Manh Son, Tien Thuy commune (Quynh Luu) went to catch snails in the Hang Trau area right at the entrance of Lach Quen and discovered a large dead fish washed ashore.
The fish is nearly 5 meters long, the largest part (head) is nearly 1 meter in diameter, and is estimated to weigh nearly 1 ton. According to local people, this is a retractable shark (as the locals call it), a very rare fish in this sea area, possibly lost in shallow water, the tide is low quickly, so it got stranded and died. Because the fish's body is still fresh, there are no signs of scratches. According to research, this is a large-mouth shark, with a mouth cavity that is shiny like silver and a jaw full of small teeth that curl like hooks. The head of this shark is very large but the eyes are extremely small, with 5 pairs of gill slits, it is a deep-sea monster.
