Thuy Van - Miss International Vietnam 2015 released MV My Vietnam

My Vietnam is Thuy Van's own composition for the audience and fans who have supported her for nearly a year preparing for the Miss International contest.

Currently, although she is in Japan and competing in the Miss International pageant, Thuy Van is very excitedly waiting for the day when her song will be sent to a wide audience in the country through television channels and media units.

My Vietnam is a rather risky choice of Thuy Van when she wanted to write a song herself expressing her love for the motherland Vietnam. Previously, the two song options chosen to be translated (in English) and filmed for the MV were Viet Nam que huong toi by musician Do Nhuan and Moi ngay toi chon mot vui by the late musician Trinh Cong Son with half of the content in English, the other half kept in Vietnamese.

The process of writing lyrics and recording My Vietnam went quite smoothly with the support of young musician Nguyen Duy Anh, who is known for his role in arranging and mixing many outstanding compositions of many young singers in recent times. Although he was quite busy with many projects, when Thuy Van shared, he accepted and supported Thuy Van wholeheartedly.

Musician Duy Anh recounted a rather interesting collaboration story: on the first day of work, Thuy Van bought 4 bottles of light Vodka (3 degrees) and many snacks to bring to the studio. He asked Thuy Van why she brought alcohol, Thuy Van shared that she thought musicians often had the habit of drinking alcohol to get inspired, so she bought it for everyone to enjoy. The song My Vietnam was completed quite quickly after only one day of recording.

The MV My Vietnam was made in 10 days and to have beautiful scenes of Vietnam as well as to complete the MV was a very difficult challenge for Up Production when Thuy Van was quite busy with preparations for the Miss International contest as well as the role of MC of the economic - financial channel FBNC.

In the MV, the audience will be able to admire many famous landscapes of Vietnam from the North to the South, such as Ma Pi Leng (Northwest), Ha Long Bay, Ly Son, Ba Na, Hoi An, Da Lat, Ke Ga, Mui Ne, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon River bank.../.
