Striker Ho Tuan Tai: Always think of his mother to play hard

(Baonghean) - After the match between SLNA - Thanh Hoa in round 6 of V.League 2015, the online community was excited by the celebration of U.19 Vietnam striker Ho Tuan Tai. The SLNA striker lifted his shirt to reveal the words: "Love you so much, Mom". A few days after the match, Tuan Tai shared his thoughts about that unique celebration.

- Can Tuan Tai tell us how it feels to play in the V.League for the first time?

- It was really a very special feeling. Not only me but all the players who are training at Song Lam "oven" dream of wearing the first team shirt to compete in V.League. I am still young, I know that this season, the uncles and seniors promoted me only to help me gain experience, but that was also very fun. After 5 rounds, the last match was the first time I was able to play and score, that was very special and an important and memorable milestone in my career.

- Can Tuan Tai share about the unique celebration in the match with Thanh Hoa?

- My father passed away early, the burden of the family fell on my mother's shoulders. For many years, my mother worked hard to raise Tai and his sister. I understand my mother's sacrifices. Therefore, in any tournament, I always think of my mother to try my best. In fact, when sending me to join the Song Lam training center, both my father and mother had a dream, to see me wearing the SLNA first team shirt, playing on Vinh field. Therefore, today's match is very special to me and my whole family. I want to dedicate this special gift to my mother. In the match that afternoon, my mother, younger sister, and brothers from my hometown were present on the field to cheer for me. If I don't score, after the match, I will go to my mother and pull up my shirt so that she can see those words as a thank you.

- Does Tuan Tai think he is lucky to have a smooth start in V.League?

- For me, when I go on the field, I play with all my heart. Being promoted to play in the V.League, besides the pride, is a great responsibility and I always try my best not to disappoint those who believe in me. Of course, in football there is always an element of luck and I think I have that when playing in a team with a lot of fighting spirit. Everyone is eager to show themselves and as one of the youngest, I think I am lucky.

- What are Tuan Tai's upcoming plans?

- I am still young and now, my immediate goal is to play well for SLNA. I want, when given the opportunity, to do my best. If I have the opportunity to wear the national youth team's shirt, I also hope that I will try to contribute to Vietnamese football. In fact, to achieve what I want, I have to overcome many more challenges and I hope that the fans will always stand by me and support me.
