Sending the remains of martyrs back to their homeland
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 22, at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Do Luong District, the Special Working Group of Nghe An Province held a ceremony to send the remains of martyrs back to their homeland. Attending were Colonel Cao Xuan Tung - Deputy Head of the Policy Department of Military Region 4; Colonel Cao Huy Luong - Deputy Political Commissar, Provincial Military Command; Nguyen Thanh Phung - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and leaders of Do Luong District.

This time, there were 4 martyrs who were sent back to their hometowns: Dao Ngoc Thu from Nguyen Binh commune, Binh Luc district, Ha Nam province; Nguyen Van Nham from Nhan Thinh commune, Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province; Le Dinh Thong from Hoang Dao commune, Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province; Le Van Toa from Vinh Thinh commune, Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province.
These are four Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who heroically sacrificed their lives in the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Vientiane and Xay Xom Bun, Lao PDR while performing their noble international duties. The Nghe An Provincial Special Task Force coordinated to search for, exhume, gather and move the martyrs to the Do Luong District Martyrs Cemetery for burial.

At the ceremony, leaders of Military Region 4, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Military Command, Do Luong District and people offered flowers and incense to pay respect to the souls of the martyrs and expressed their deep gratitude to the Vietnamese experts and volunteer soldiers who heroically sacrificed for the noble international cause and the independence and freedom of the nation. These are the outstanding sons among tens of thousands of outstanding sons in all regions of the Fatherland who heroically sacrificed for the revolutionary cause of the two Vietnamese and Lao peoples when they were only in their twenties. The Party, State, Army and People are forever grateful to the loyal sons who devoted their whole lives to the cause of national liberation and the noble international cause. The heroic sacrifice of the martyrs has embellished the heroic history and the heroic and indomitable tradition of the nation, forever passed down to future generations.
Immediately after the ceremony, the Provincial Military Command moved the martyrs' remains back to their homeland.
