The Department of Internal Affairs of Tan Ky district has proactively grasped the situation, regularly inspected and grasped the activities of the grassroots authorities of communes and towns; urged the good implementation of management and operation according to the operating regulations of the People's Committees of communes and towns; well implemented the regulations on grassroots democracy, promoted administrative reform, innovated working style, and implemented the code of conduct in the workplace. Continuously improved and perfected the activities of the one-stop transaction center of the People's Committees of communes and towns, and enhanced the responsibility of serving organizations and citizens every time they came to the local government.

To meet that requirement, the Department of Home Affairs has done a good job in personnel work, advising, arranging commune and town cadres reasonably, promoting the cadres' working capacity. Thanks to that, in recent times, the direction and operation of the People's Committees of communes and towns have become increasingly effective, the quality of service to the people has been increasingly improved, and people's psychology has been more comfortable and secure. Since then, the work of evaluating and classifying commune and town bases has been conducted regularly and democratically, having a positive effect on the efforts of commune and town bases. The evaluation results show that in 2014, 10 commune units were classified as having excellently completed their tasks, and 12 communes were classified as having well completed their tasks. In particular, after Directive No. 10/2013/CT-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee and Directive No. 17-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, the Department of Home Affairs promptly supervised and advised the District People's Committee on the implementation of discipline and administrative discipline of the staff, civil servants and public employees from communes, towns to the District People's Committee...

Tan Ky is a locality that has recently had a number of issues regarding administrative boundary disputes. The Department of Internal Affairs has promptly advised the District People's Committee to resolve disputes and conflicts regarding boundaries and administrative boundaries between neighboring districts and to negotiate intra-district boundary lines.

In implementing the rotation and transfer of work positions according to Decree 158/2007/ND-CP, in 2014, the Department of Home Affairs advised on the rotation of 13 positions of commune cadres and civil servants in accordance with the correct procedures and capabilities. From there, the team of commune cadres and civil servants promoted their professional and technical capabilities and operational efficiency. In addition, the Department of Home Affairs also promptly advised the District People's Committee to increase salaries, raise salary grades, transfer salary scales, and resolve retirement and social insurance benefits for commune-level cadres and civil servants in full and in accordance with regulations. Advised the District People's Committee to perform tasks such as: reviewing qualifications for commune cadres and civil servants; supplementing military service time for commune and town cadres; implementing a number of regimes and policies for commune-level militia and self-defense forces; Resolving the regime for deputy military commanders, deputy police chiefs and commune police officers after they leave work for legitimate reasons.

The Department always proactively advises the District People's Committee on personnel work, meeting the requirements on staffing and organization in accordance with the regulations of the superiors, while ensuring the completion of assigned tasks. That is, developing a project to establish a District Project Management Board; advising on the decision to establish a District Citizen Reception Committee; arranging the organization of the District Vocational Training Center. Advising on the good implementation of the work of promotion, appointment, recruitment, transfer, rotation and discipline of cadres, civil servants and public employees, in accordance with the process. The transfer of managers, teachers and the promotion of managers for the Education sector in the area, as well as the district-level departments and offices, have met the requirements of the assigned tasks.

The Department of Home Affairs actively advised the District People's Committee on administrative reform (AR) to issue a number of documents directing agencies and units in the district to strictly implement the AR; the work of emulation and rewards, associations and non-governmental organizations, training and fostering of cadres, documents, archives, and religion was also advised by the Department of Home Affairs to the District People's Committee to promptly resolve, not to let problems drag on.

In 2014, the District People's Committee organized inspections at 3 commune-level units: Giai Xuan, Nghia Thai and Tan Long communes. In general, localities basically focused on and directed the implementation of administrative reform work, effectively implementing the campaign "Cadres, civil servants and public employees in the district actively participate in reforming administrative procedures, improving the quality of service to people, organizations and businesses".

With the achievements, over the years, Tan Ky District Internal Affairs Department has always achieved the title of "Excellent Labor Collective". From 2010-2012, the Party cell achieved the title of "Excellent Labor Collective"; was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister; and many Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee. And especially, in 2014, Tan Ky District Internal Affairs Department was honored to receive the Emulation Flag from the Provincial People's Committee, for its achievements in completing all tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2014.
