At the meeting, Major General Nguyen Canh Hien praised and highly appreciated the proactive work of storm and flood prevention of Nghe An Border Guard officers and soldiers during the recent storm, especially the proactive mobilization of forces and military medics before and after the storm to areas damaged by storms and floods to help people stabilize their lives soon.

In order to support officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Border Guard to overcome the severe damage caused by storm No. 10, especially the families of soldiers in the storm and flood areas to quickly overcome the severe consequences of natural disasters, Major General Nguyen Canh Hien presented 500 million VND to officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Border Guard. This amount was taken from the campaign for all officers, soldiers and workers of the border guards nationwide to donate to support the people of the central region affected by storms and floods with the desire to contribute to helping the unit and the families of the soldiers overcome difficulties, quickly restore the living and working places of the soldiers to soon stabilize their work.

Receiving the support money, Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van - Commander of Nghe An Border Guard Command thanked the Command for its attention and promised to deliver it to the families of soldiers who suffered heavy losses in the recent storm and flood as soon as possible.
