Receiving support and giving gifts to children from southern provinces returning home to avoid the epidemic
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 18, the Nghe An Provincial Children's Fund continued to receive sponsorship from units and businesses to support children and their parents returning from southern provinces to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company, and the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Nam Nghe An Branch.
This time, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development donated 200 million VND; Thong Thuan Company Limited (Binh Thuan province) donated 400 million VND; TH Group, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and For Vietnamese Stature Fund donated 14,000 cups of fresh milk and nutritional drinks worth 120 million VND.

Immediately after the reception ceremony, the units directly presented gifts to the children currently quarantined at Vinh University, Campus 2 and the Central College of Transport.
According to statistics from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, from May 24 to October 14, 2021, Nghe An province had more than 3,000 children infected with Covid-19, quarantined and thousands of children in difficult circumstances affected by the epidemic; thousands of families with children from the southern provinces returned to their hometowns to avoid the epidemic. In the first phase, the Children's Support Fund called on sponsors to give gifts to the children with a total amount of nearly 700 million VND.
