Receiving the Nguyen Dynasty Wood version of Hung Vuong
On the afternoon of March 14, Mr. Luu Quang Huy, Director of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site, said that the Nguyen Dynasty wooden version of the Hung King Legend was officially presented to Phu Tho province by the National Records and Archives Department.

This is the oldest woodblock found to date, carving the Hung King Legend, and is the first precious woodblock version that Phu Tho province has received.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, said that this is a wooden version engraved with Chinese characters or reverse Nom characters, including woodblocks of official works and official history of the Nguyen Dynasty transferred from the Temple of Literature (Hanoi) to be stored in Hue during the reign of King Minh Mang and King Thieu Tri; including a unique woodblock about the origin of Vietnamese history.
This woodblock is part of the book Dai Viet Su Ky Toan Thu, Ky Hong Bang Thi, volume 1. Size 36.5×20cm; printing frame 29.5×19.5cm. This is the oldest woodblock found to date that depicts the Hung King Legend.
The Wooden Version of the Hung Kings' Legend was presented to Phu Tho province, demonstrating the respect of those working in the archives and records sector across the country in commemorating the Hung Kings' merits./.
