Continued discovery of suspected Formosa waste dump
Residents of Ky Phuong ward (Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh) continue to discover dozens of tons of suspected Formosa waste dumped in the Cay Khe quarry area.
On the afternoon of August 4, speaking with VietNamNet, Mr. Pham Van Hung, Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ky Anh town, said: The unit is approaching the area suspected of having Formosa waste dumped at Cay Khe quarry, in Ky Phuong ward. The force is currently preparing a record for handling.

Garbage dump discovered by forest goers |
This amount of waste was discovered by people when they went into the forest to cut banana trees. This garbage dump area is about 1km from the bypass road 1B of Ky Anh town.
According to records, this waste is mainly household waste and construction waste including: sawdust mixed with soil and rock, plywood, wooden crates, rotten paint, and packaging with Chinese writing.
