This morning (August 13), Steering Committee 515 on searching, collecting and identifying martyrs in Nghe An province held an online conference to summarize experiences in mapping the area to search for and collect martyrs' remains and complete the list of martyrs. Colonel Pham Van Dong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Standing Committee of Steering Committee 515 chaired the conference.

In the past time, the Military Command of districts, cities and towns has coordinated with relevant agencies, departments and branches to thoroughly implement the official dispatches, directives and instructions of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 on concluding the area, making maps to search and collect martyrs' remains. Strengthening the propaganda work of the Party and State's policies and guidelines on searching and collecting martyrs' remains, at the same time mobilizing organizations, individuals and all people to participate actively and effectively.

At the conference, delegates presented papers and shared good experiences in the dissemination of directives from superiors, and the results of mapping and searching for and collecting martyrs' remains at the grassroots level.

Based on the actual situation, difficulties and obstacles encountered, some delegates proposed that there should be closer and more involvement of the entire political system; promoting the role of revolutionary veterans, prestigious people and war veterans in the work of mapping, searching and collecting martyrs' remains.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Pham Van Dong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command requested: Steering Committee 24 at the district level to continue to do a good job of propaganda so that all people clearly understand the meaning and content of the work of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains; Proactively develop plans, guide and organize serious and strict implementation from the village to the district level; coordinate well between departments, branches, Party committees and local authorities at all levels during the implementation process; Units organize to conclude the area, make maps, review and complete records and lists of martyrs and report to the Standing Office of Steering Committee 515 of the province before September 20, 2020.
