Continue to attract young intellectuals to help poor communes

(Baonghean.vn)- Voters in some communes in Quy Hop district proposed the implementation of Decision No. 59/QD-UBND of Nghe An province on attracting young intellectuals to work in poor communes. Accordingly,In the district, there are currently 27 students who have returned to work, and their term has expired according to regulations. We request the Provincial People's Committee to consider resolving the next work for the above students.

This issue the competent authority responded:

- Regarding the above policy, according to the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council and Decision No. 59/2010/QD-UBND dated August 12, 2010 of the Provincial People's Committee, it will be implemented until the end of 2015.

- Implement Notice No. 12-TB/TU dated November 4, 2015 of the Provincial Party Committee on the conclusion of the Provincial Party Secretary at the meeting with the Provincial Steering Committee for Poverty Reduction, agreeing to the policy of continuing to implement the poverty reduction support mechanism in Decision No. 59/2010/QD-UBND for 42 poor communes in 8 districts in the period 2016-2020.

Currently, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (Standing Agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for Poverty Reduction) is advising the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to continue implementing Decision No. 59/2010/QD-UBND for the period 2016 - 2020. After the official decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Home Affairs will provide specific instructions for relevant districts to continue attracting young intellectuals to help poor communes according to regulations.
