This regulation is stated in the Draft Decree on administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of post, telecommunications, information technology and radio frequencies drafted by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
This penalty also applies to cases of buying, selling, exchanging, donating, repairing, changing or disclosing legal private information of agencies, organizations and individuals online without the owner's permission; Stealing, appropriating, buying, selling, exchanging, using or disclosing accounts, passwords, access rights to applications and value-added services online.
In addition, if you steal, buy, sell, exchange, disclose, or illegally use other people's credit card information; bypass warnings, access codes, firewalls, use other people's administrative rights to illegally access other people's networks or digital devices to take control; interfere with the functions of digital devices; steal, change, destroy, falsify data, or illegally use services, you may be fined from 30 to 50 million VND.
