Destroy 1,900 poultry of unknown origin

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 5:30 p.m. on March 13, an interdisciplinary inspection team coordinated with the Bac Nghe An Animal Quarantine Station located in Hoang Mai town to inspect and discover a passenger bus transporting a quantity of poultry of unknown origin on the way to consumption.

At 5:30 p.m. on February 13, the Bac Nghe An Animal Quarantine Station coordinated with the traffic police team of Hoang Mai town police to arrest a passenger car with license plate 37B 00900 driven by Le Van Can, residing in Quynh Luong commune, Quynh Luu district, while transporting a number of poultry on the way to consumption. Upon inspection, the Bac Nghe An Animal Quarantine Station discovered that the car was carrying 1,900 poultry, including 1,300 chickens and 6,00 geese without papers or origin. Immediately after that, the quarantine station seized the above number of poultry and administratively fined the driver Le Van Can.
