Destroyed 1 bomb and 41 warheads
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 2, the Military Command of Dien Chau district coordinated with the provincial Engineering force to destroy a large number of bombs and warheads collected in the area.

Authorities destroyed a 250kg bomb and 41 warheads of various types.
The bomb was discovered during the construction of the Dien Thanh culvert. The remaining warheads were seized during inspections at the Dien Hong industrial park and screenings at several communes in the district.
To ensure absolute safety in the destruction, the engineering force brought all the collected bombs and warheads to Khe Ro area, Dien Thang commune and used explosives to detonate them, then carefully checked them before filling the hole.

In 2017, Dien Chau district conducted 4 destruction campaigns with 2 bombs and more than 100 warheads of various types.
