Destroy 140 kg of buffalo feet of unknown origin

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 19, Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station destroyed 140 kg of buffalo feet of unknown origin.

Previously, at 1:15 p.m. on November 16, at km 423 of National Highway 1A, in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, the patrol team of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected a car with license plate 36B-00448, driven by Mr. Vu Van Chung, born in 1984, residing in Xuan Thien commune, Tho Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province.

Officers of Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station checked the shipment before destroying it.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was carrying two foam boxes containing 140 kg of animal products including buffalo feet and hooves. All of these animal products did not have quarantine certificates and were of unknown origin.

Dien Chau District Traffic Police Station has made a record of confiscation and handed over the entire shipment to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling and destruction according to the provisions of law./.
