(Baonghean.vn) - The working group inspected the slaughterhouse at Ms. Linh's house in Cho hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune and discovered 170 kg of rotten beef and 25 kg of dirty organs.

Authorities count meat of unknown origin

At 4:00 a.m. on August 10, through patrolling and controlling, the Traffic Police of Nghia Dan District discovered that Ms. Phan Thi Linh, residing in Cho Hamlet, Nghia Hoi Commune, Nghia Dan, was organizing the slaughter of buffaloes of unknown origin and was selling meat to people right on the traffic safety corridor (in front of Mr. Quyet's house in Tan Hong Block, Nghia Dan Town).

The slaughterhouse is unsanitary and located close to residential areas.

The working group coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the District Veterinary Station, and the local government of Nghia Hoi commune to inspect the slaughterhouse. Here, Ms. Linh confessed that she had bought the buffalo in Quy Chau, and did not present any documents during the purchase and transportation process.

Next, the working group continued to inspect the slaughterhouse at Ms. Linh's private home in Cho hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune and discovered 170 kg of rotten beef and 25 kg of dirty organs. The slaughterhouse is located in a residential area and does not ensure food hygiene and safety.

The meat and organs were destroyed according to the law.
