Healthy heart thanks to eating grilled and steamed fish

Scientists at the British Heart Foundation have warned that eating fried fish and chips, even just once a week, can increase the risk of heart failure, while eating grilled or baked fish reduces the risk by 30%.

According to the Daily Express, researchers say that frying fish not only nullifies the beneficial effects of fish, but also increases the risk of heart failure in people who eat fried fish by about 50%.

To draw the above conclusion, experts analyzed the eating habits of 84,493 women aged 50 - 79 over 8 years.

Results showed that people who ate grilled or steamed fish five or more times a week reduced their risk of heart failure by 30%.
