Found 9 named martyrs' remains in Laos
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the information we have just received, while performing a mission in Xieng Khouang province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of the Provincial Military Command has just discovered 9 martyrs' remains named as Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts.
Previously, according to information from Mr. Cho Va, people in Then Phun village, Muong Khun district, Xieng Khouang province, Laos provided: In the Phu Pha Deng mountain area, Then Khun village, Muong Khun district, there is a cemetery burying 11 Vietnamese soldiers who died.

From the above information, on January 24, 2021,Team for collecting martyrs' remains of Nghe An Provincial Military Commandsent a team of 5 comrades led by Major Le Van Duc to conduct a survey in the Phu Pha Deng mountain area. By February 5, 2021, 8 graves with information on aluminum steles were discovered, of which 5 graves had full names, ranks, positions, hometowns and 3 graves had only full names, specifically:

Currently, the Martyr Remains Collection Team of Nghe An Provincial Military Command is reporting to superiors to continue expanding the scope of the survey. It is expected that the collection will be organized after the Lunar New Year 2021.
Previously, on January 4, 2021, the Martyr Remains Collection Team of Nghe An province collected 1 martyr's remains in Loong Kay village, Muong Kham district, Xieng Khouang province.
Among them, there are relics such as cloth shoes, Vietnamese army buttons, army tanks and a bottle of penicillin. The team sent the bottle of penicillin to Nghe An Provincial Police for examination.
According to the forensic information from Nghe An Police, the information written on the paper taken from the penicillin bottle is that of martyr Nguyen Ngoc Que, born in 1948; hometown: Dong Phong hamlet, Binh Lang commune, Tu Ky district, Hai Hung province. Enlisted in September 1965; Rank: Corporal; Position: Soldier; Unit: C4, D45, E5, Northwest Military Region. Died on November 5, 1969. Father Nguyen Ngoc Sung, mother Tran Thi Giang.
Currently, the Team for Collecting Martyrs' Remains of Nghe An province has brought the remains of martyr Nguyen Ngoc Que to Phon Xa Van town, Xieng Khouang province and has contacted the martyr's relatives.
