Last victim found in 7-seater car swept away by flood in Nghia Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - The body of Vu Ba Hai (9 years old), the last victim in the Inova car that sank on Khe Ang floodwater, Nghia Hong commune, was found by people in Vinh Son commune, Anh Son district on Lam river.

On the afternoon of September 23, some people in Vinh Son commune, Anh Son district rowed a boat to the forest on the alluvial plain in the middle of the river to collect firewood and discovered the body of a boy about 9 years old, wearing a suit, and immediately informed the Vinh Son commune authorities and Anh Son district police. Upon receiving the report, Anh Son district police contacted Nghia Dan district police, requesting that officers be sent down to identify and verify. The victim was identified as Vu Ba Hai, the last victim yet to be found in the case of a car being swept away by floodwaters at Khe Ang spillway, Nghia Hong commune, Nghia Dan district.

The area where Hai's body was found was an alluvial land in the middle of the Lam River, with dense forest. Thus, the youngest victim in the car drift incident was swept away from Khe Ang to Hieu River and then dumped into Lam River. That same afternoon, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police coordinated with the Anh Son District Police and Nghia Dan District Police to conduct an autopsy and hand over the body to the family for burial according to local customs.
Previously, on the morning of September 22, a car with four victims was also discovered about 700 meters from the point of being swept away.
Thus, all 5 victims in the flood that swept away the Inova car have been found.
