Good news from the Month of Education Promotion
(Bna) -After 7 years of implementing "Month of Encouraging Learning"; Associations for Promoting Learning at all levels and educational institutions have taken advantage of the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities; the support of the Fatherland Front; the coordination of all levels and sectors to create a combined strength to encourage learning, encourage talents, and build a learning society. The annual "Learning Promotion Month" actively contributes to the development of education and learning promotion. Comparing the achievements of the 6th "Learning Promotion Month" (2009) with the 7th "Learning Promotion Month" (2010), we can see that the number of Associations of blocks, hamlets, villages, agencies, units, and schools increased from 7,128 to 7,345; the number of Family Learning Promotion Boards increased from 5,494 to 5,580 families; the number of members increased from 37.8 thousand to 46 thousand members; the Learning Promotion Fund increased from 26.7 billion to 31.7 billion VND. The Learning Promotion Association has actively contributed with society to implement "3 enough" - enough food, enough clothes, enough books for students to go to school. The "Learning Promotion Month" movement has had a positive impact on the overall quality of education, reducing the dropout rate and improving the quality of key points. In 2010 - 2011, there were 3 international excellent students, 62 national excellent students, 161 students with high university entrance exam scores who were commended by the Provincial People's Committee.

The 8th "Nghe An Learning Promotion Month" (2011) focuses on the following contents:
- Promote the dissemination of the contents of the 8th "Nghe An Learning Promotion Month" movement to continue raising awareness of learning promotion, talent promotion, and building a learning society among cadres, teachers, members, and people. Encourage students to study well and practice well; teachers to teach well and work well.
- Continue to strengthen and improve the quality of the Association's organization and members in schools and residential areas. Organize membership development in conjunction with issuing membership cards, and achieve the target of increasing the number of members by 1% of the population.
- Organize a discussion on the tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers; encourage learning and respect talented people; and discuss solutions to improve the effectiveness of emulation movements to encourage learning at all levels of the Association, especially at the grassroots level.
- Actively promote the establishment of the Education Promotion Fund at all levels of the Association, agencies, units, clans, compatriots, etc. to support the Education Promotion Fund.
- Mobilize the entire population to send children to school, especially to help and support children in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances. Mobilize students who dropped out of school last year to return to school to continue studying. Encourage students to participate in vocational training, supplementary secondary and high school education. Promote activities to support formal and continuing education; contribute to improving the effectiveness of activities at community learning centers.
Organize the awarding of scholarships at all levels of the Association to poor students who are good at studying, good at vocational skills, and continue to strive well in the new school year. Support and help teachers in especially difficult circumstances who have taken good care of teaching and working. Reward students who have achieved high results in international competitions; students who have achieved high scores in university entrance exams; care for poor students who are good at studying and cultivating themselves.
- Promote the "Drumbeat of Learning Promotion" movement in the block, hamlet, and village associations. Maintain learning discipline for students; contribute to reducing unhealthy activities, playfulness, laziness, laziness, and reducing social evils.
- Implement "3 enough" for students (enough food, enough clothes, enough books) during "Learning Promotion Month" and strive to maintain "3 enough" throughout the school year.
Promoting the achievements that have been made together with the excitement and responsibility when being recognized as an association with special activities; believing that with the attention and leadership of Party committees and Governments at all levels; the guidance and assistance of the Fatherland Front; the coordination of departments, branches, unions, and social organizations; the volunteerism, enthusiasm, and intelligence of officials and teachers of the Education and Training sector; officials and members of the Association for Promotion of Education; and the high consensus of the entire population, the 8th "Nghe An Month for Promotion of Education" in 2011 will achieve high efficiency.
