A series of Vietnamese websites were attacked by Chinese hackers during the recent holidays.

Yesterday, September 4, 373 more Vietnamese websites continued to be attacked by hackers, however, most of them were domain names of the company 123muaxe.vn.

Statistics show that among the 745 websites attacked, there are: 8 government websites (.gov.vn) and 40 websites of educational organizations (.edu.vn) in Vietnam.

All of these lists of hacked websites were posted by Chinese hackers on the website 1937cn.net - a cyber security forum with the aim of inciting hackers to attack Vietnamese websites. However, not only 1937cn.net participated in the attack, Sky-Eyeye - a large hacker group in China also participated and attacked nearly 100 Vietnamese websites.

Currently, there are still many websites that are still "paralyzed", "hacked" or do not know that they have been attacked.

Faced with this serious problem, SecurityDaily has recommended that website administrators in Vietnam should check their websites in the list of attacked websites.

Hacked websites need to review their entire website, remove any backdoors that may exist on the system, and simultaneously take measures to assess and strengthen security to avoid becoming a victim of further attacks.

For websites that are not on the list of attacks, SecurityDaily advises administrators to update to the latest versions for the platforms they are using. Conduct security checks and assessments for their websites.
