Today's weather forecast on September 1st according to the Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the weather will be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, and showers and thunderstorms in some common places throughout the country during the day.
Northern region is cloudy, sunny during the day. Particularly in Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue and Central Highlands, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms; mountainous areas are at risk of flash floods and landslides.
At sea, the tropical convergence zone has its axis at about 15 - 17 degrees north latitude. The southeast to east wind field has an average intensity over the Gulf of Tonkin and the northern East Sea, while the southwest wind remains over the central and southern East Sea. The Hoang Sa and Truong Sa sea areas have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
