Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organizes peak day 'Volunteering for beloved juniors'
(Baonghean.vn) - The peak day "Volunteering for beloved juniors" on August 7 was held simultaneously at all Youth Union, Association and Young Pioneer organizations nationwide. In Nghe An province, the peak day was directed by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Provincial Young Pioneer Council to ensure effectiveness and suitability to the actual situation of each locality.
Accordingly, the activities focus on 3 main contents: Organizing cultural and artistic activities, sports, entertainment, creative experiences for children in residential areas; Organizing activities to care for, support and protect children; Building works and tasks "For beloved juniors"...
At the program, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union supported Lien Hop commune with 1 playground for children, 1 "Reading space for children" project and opened a class to popularize information technology and connect knowledge for local youth.

On this occasion, to carry out activities to accompany, care for and support students who are children of difficult circumstances, affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the Central Youth Union awarded 3 scholarships of the "Persistent Vietnam" Program to 3 students, including Truong Thi Yen - Ha Son Primary School, Bach Thi Quynh Trang - Minh Hop Secondary School and Lo Minh Quyen - Quy Hop Town Secondary School.
The District Youth Union and the District Pioneer Council also presented gifts of 500 red scarves and 100 squared notebooks to the Lien Hop Primary School and organized a free haircut program for 100 poor students in the locality.
In Cua Lo town, the representative of the Provincial Youth Union presented the playground "For beloved juniors" in Nghi Hoa ward and Thu Thuy ward, and visited and encouraged two students Nguyen Thi Huyen My (4th grade student) and Nguyen Dinh Bo Linh (1st grade student) whose family circumstances were extremely difficult, both of whom had to have their legs amputated in traffic accidents.
For Hung Nguyen district, the Provincial Youth Union delegation awarded prizes for the painting contest "Summer in Me" organized by the District Youth Union and awarded 3 scholarships of the "Persistent Vietnam" program to students with difficult circumstances who strive to study well in the district.

Responding to the peak day, in 21 districts, towns and cities of the province, the Youth Union - Young Pioneers chapters across the province simultaneously launched many meaningful activities for children. Creating a vibrant emulation movement, attracting a large number of union members, youth and cadres in charge of children to participate.
Comrade Tran Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said that recently, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union Council have coordinated with relevant units to mobilize all resources to organize activities to care for disadvantaged children in the province.
