(Baonghean.vn) On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Truong Bon victory (October 31, 1968 - October 31, 2011), on the morning of October 29, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in coordination with Nghe An Provincial Veterans Association offered incense and flowers to commemorate the martyrs of the Youth Volunteers at Truong Bon Historical Site (Do Luong). This is an annual activity organized by the Provincial Youth Union and the Veterans Association, demonstrating the morality of remembering the source of water, the sense of responsibility and gratitude towards those who have contributed to the country.
Attending the incense offering ceremony were comrade Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union; comrade Mai At, Chairman of Nghe An Veterans Association. At the graves of 13 veterans of the 317th Company - Nghe An Youth Union and Truong Bon Victory Monument, comrades in the Provincial Youth Union and the Veterans Association of Nghe An province respectfully offered incense and flowers to express their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
Lighting incense sticks to commemorate the heroic souls of Truong Bon martyrs, the Youth Volunteers of the past and representatives of the young generation of Nghe An today were all moved with emotion, vowing to continue to live and work well, constantly striving to build Nghe An homeland to become more and more prosperous to be worthy of the noble sacrifice of our brothers and sisters for today's independence.
