People living on both sides of this road are upset because every day there are many trucks carrying soil, rocks... from the soil and rock mines in Dong Thanh downstream, especially at night when many large trucks carrying goods pass by, making this road worse. Due to the serious deterioration and damage of the road, on rainy days, many sections are muddy like ponds, making it very difficult to travel. On sunny days, dust flies everywhere, the road surface is rough, and there are many potholes. During harvest days, farmers have a hard time traveling on this road.

The reason is that since the Tang Lang bridge on Tang Lang road was demolished for reconstruction, vehicles have had to avoid this section of road 22. The road surface has been crushed, making it difficult to travel, plus car wash services on both sides of the road discharge wastewater onto the road, causing many places to often become muddy and difficult to travel. Local residents said that although the above phenomenon has been going on for two months, no agency or unit has been seen to fix or repair it. There is also Yen Thanh II High School on this section of road, so the number of students going to school every day is very crowded, making it very difficult and complicated.
