Nghe An province meets with retired and retired senior military officials

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 30th anniversary of the National Defense Day, on the morning of December 19, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province organized a meeting with senior military officers who have retired and retired from work in Nghe An province.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; and 1,532 retired and retired senior military officers in the province.

At the meeting, the delegates respectfully reviewed the history, heroic tradition, and steadfastness in fighting and defending the country of their homeland. Accordingly: In any historical period, the Nghe An Armed Forces in particular and the Nghe An people in general have made worthy contributions to the country and to the longevity of the nation. In the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, the whole province had over 500,000 people joining the army; over 45,000 people joining the youth volunteers; over 120,000 people joining the frontline laborers and guerrillas; over 900 revolutionary cadres were imprisoned by the enemy...

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent his gratitude and best wishes to retired senior military officers in the province.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy expressed: In order to successfully complete the tasks, Nghe An province really needs the help, support and companionship of comrades who are former senior military officers who have retired and are no longer working in the area. The province hopes to receive valuable advice and contributions from comrades in planning development policies, especially long-term strategies, in building new rural areas; building a strong and comprehensive armed force, building a solid defense area, ready for combat.
