At these two locations, volunteer teams organized four Vietnamese language classes for students, local residents, and local officials and civil servants. On the first day of classes, the classes received enthusiastic responses from local residents and officials. Currently, there are 480 people participating in Vietnamese language classes, most of whom are officials working in districts and communes bordering Vietnam, who want to learn Vietnamese and Vietnamese characters to facilitate their work. Many Lao students also choose Vietnamese as their second foreign language.

Vietnamese language classes attract a large number of students, officials and people from Laos.

Student Nguyen Minh My Linh, Team Leader of the volunteer team in Muong Pec district, said that here, the group of 7 volunteer students is organizing 3 classes in the morning, noon and evening for Lao students, Vietnamese people working in Laos and Lao officials. The classes received support from the local government and people, so they achieved very good results.

In addition to teaching Vietnamese, the volunteer student team also conducts activities to promote Vietnamese culture, cultural and artistic exchange programs in the Land of a Million Elephants, advises students on educational programs in Vietnam and helps students who wish to study abroad in Vietnam.

This is an annual activity program of school students in Laos every summer. All of these international volunteer trips have achieved high results, contributing to enhancing and strengthening the relationship between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces as well as between the two brotherly countries of Vietnam and Laos.
