(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 8, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cong Thin, member of the District Party Committee, Commander of the District Military Command; Comrade Nguyen Hong Son - Chairman of the People's Committee of Kim Lien Commune led a delegation of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Lien Commune and young people preparing to join the army to offer flowers and burn incense to commemorate Uncle Ho at the Kim Lien Relic Site.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 8, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cong Thin, member of the District Party Committee, Commander of the District Military Command; Comrade Nguyen Hong Son - Chairman of the People's Committee of Kim Lien Commune led a delegation of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Lien Commune and young people preparing to join the army to offer flowers and burn incense to commemorate Uncle Ho at the Kim Lien Relic Site.

Before the spirit of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation and 12 young people of Kim Lien commune preparing to join the army in the second batch of 2014 offered Uncle Ho fresh flowers and incense sticks respectfully, expressing their honor and pride in being a young generation born and raised in the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho, thereby determining a good sense of responsibility, promoting family and hometown traditions, and being determined to complete the task of protecting the Fatherland.

The delegation and young people preparing to join the army also came to offer flowers and incense at the Kim Lien Commune Martyrs' Cemetery, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of the outstanding children of Uncle Ho's homeland, thereby building the determination to excellently fulfill their military service duties in the coming time.

In the second phase of 2014, Nam Dan district had 150 young men enlisting in the army (Air Defense - Air Force Service, 80th Information Brigade, 324th Division, Military Region 4 General Staff, Nghe An Border Guard Command). Thanks to good propaganda work, grasping resources, promoting the coordination role of agencies and units, the quality of young men preparing to enlist in the district this phase was quite high: 100% of young men were union members, 46 young men had received training in the Party Sympathy Class; 50% of type 1 health, 44.7% of type 2, 5.3% of type 3; 3 young men had university or college education (2%), 71.34% of grade 12 level, 26.6% of grade 9 to 11 level; Young people aged 18 and 19 reached 72%, and those aged 20 to 25 reached 28%.

Before the day of leaving for military service, the District Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and District Military Command visited and gave gifts to young men preparing to join the army from 6 poor households with difficult circumstances and 18 near-poor households, promptly encouraging the young men to feel secure in leaving to carry out their duties.
