Organizing the screening of the film "Liberation of Saigon"
(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of May 14, 12-09 Film Joint Stock Company organized a film screening week to celebrate major holidays with the film "Liberation of Saigon".
“Liberation of Saigon” is a Vietnamese film produced by Saigon Liberation Studio to commemorate Liberation Day.Liberation of the South. The film is based on the work Saigon - The Epic by writer Hoang Ha. The film was invested with 12.5 billion VND; produced in a record time of 13 years. The film was first shown on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2005) and every year on the occasion of the anniversary of this victory.
The film records some of the main historical events in the process of liberating Saigon. Overlapping all of these events is the brilliant plan of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign Command: to enter Saigon with five prongs, occupy the five most important positions, skillfully coordinate with the local rebel forces, storm straight into the last stronghold of the puppet government, forcing President Duong Van Minh to surrender unconditionally while Saigon remained intact.
In addition, on this occasion, the Company also premiered a newly produced documentary: "The stages of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema".
