Vietnam Records Organization awarded certificates of 5 records for Tale of Kieu
On the occasion of the 247th anniversary of the birth of the great national poet Nguyen Du, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will award the Great Poet Nguyen Du Memorial Site with a special national relic certificate. On this occasion, the Vietnam Records Organization will also award certificates of 5 records of the Tale of Kieu.
The above information was discussed by Dr. Vo Hong Hai - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh with Dan Tri reporter on the morning of November 12.

According to Mr. Hai, on the occasion of the 247th anniversary of the birth of the great national poet Nguyen Du (1766-2012), it is expected that on December 15th at Hong Lam village, Tien Dien commune, Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to organize the awarding of the Certificate of Special National Monument to the Great Poet Nguyen Du Memorial Site. According to Mr. Hai, this is the first memorial site in Ha Tinh to receive the Certificate of Special Monument from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Also informed by Mr. Hai, on this occasion, the Vietnam Record Organization will award Certificates of recognition for 5 Vietnamese records for Truyen Kieu. The 5 records above include: Truyen Kieu - The only poem that collects verses from different places to create many new poems, called the Tap Kieu phenomenon, attracting many generations of poets and writers to participate from the time of King Tu Duc (1847) to Phan Manh Danh, Tan Da, Vu Hoang Chuong, Nguyen Binh, Hoang Trung Thong... with hundreds of other poems; Truyen Kieu - The longest poem with the most translations into the same foreign language (up to 10 different translations into French).
