Organizing the largest food festival in Ho Chi Minh City
From February 21-23, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City will organize the culinary festival "My Hometown Festival" at Van Thanh Tourist Area.

The highlight of this year's festival is the introduction of Vietnamese traditional sweet soups and cakes. Art performances: Quan Ho folk songs, Hue and South Central folk songs, bamboo dance, Southern amateur music, reenactment of rural market scenes in the North, Central and South, and the Northwest highland market create a colorful festival with traditional costumes of ethnic groups.
In addition, the festival also has folk games such as: throwing con, swinging, wrestling, pushing trees; instructing children to make old toys such as: making clay figurines, toys from coconut leaves, bamboo; reenacting activities of some traditional craft production activities.
The highlight of this festival is the reenactment of Vietnamese fishing village life with fishing boats, nets, fishing gear and dishes of fishermen along the coast of Vietnam.
