Teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Principal of Yen Tinh Kindergarten, said: The schools are all built in the center of Yen Tinh commune villages and most of them are located near streams. Storm No. 2 came so quickly and unexpectedly that the schools and people only had time to rescue people, while the classrooms were submerged in mud, desks, chairs, books, utensils, and toys were damaged and swept away. After the flood, the District People's Committee directed the people and teachers to urgently clean up the schools and villages, stabilize the people's lives and encourage the children to return to school. Currently, most of the children lack books, school supplies, desks, chairs and classrooms were severely damaged. OHK organization paid attention and promptly came to share and give gifts to help schools and people of Yen Tinh commune reduce difficulties after the flood and storm.
