Seminar to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Internal Political Security Force's traditional day

(Baonghean.vn) –On the morning of May 9, Nghe An Provincial Police solemnly held a celebration and discussion on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Internal Political Security Force's Traditional Day (May 10, 1958 - May 10, 2013).

Attending the ceremony were comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's departments; leaders of departments, branches, universities and colleges in the area. On the side of the provincial police, there was Major General Nguyen Xuan Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police.

On May 10, 1958, in the report No. 521-V8/1 of the Ministry of Public Security, the Central Organizational Reorganization Committee decided to separate the Internal Security Force from the Political Security Department, establishing the Agency Security Department - Department 7, code C72 (the predecessor of the current Internal Political Security Department). Since then, May 10 has been taken as the traditional day of the industry. After 55 years of construction and development, the Internal Political Security Force of Nghe An Public Security has achieved outstanding achievements, contributing to the successful implementation of the task of building and protecting the security and order of the province.

Since the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu in 1954, the Nghe An province's National Security Force has protected the achievements of the socialist reform in the province, and built plans to ensure safety for political and social activities. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, from 1962 to 1975, out of a total of 441 Nghe An police officers and soldiers supporting the battlefields of the South and Laos, dozens of officers and soldiers of the National Security Force participated. In that arduous and sacrificial fight, many comrades heroically sacrificed their lives.

From 1995 to present,As the country enters the period of opening up and integration, the tasks of the Nghe An Public Security Internal Security force become even more difficult. In just 6 years (2007-2013), the PA83 department has proactively grasped, analyzed, synthesized, and forecasted promptly and closely the situation in the field of Internal Political Security. In crime prevention work, the PA83 department hasEstablished dozens of special projects and hundreds of professional plans to combat violations in the fields of internal politics, culture and arts, education, training, labor, and society.Concentrateabsolutely ensure the safety of major cultural and social events, especially university and college entrance exams, high school graduation exams taking place in the area. In addition, the ANCTNB force regularly improves the effectiveness of state management in the field of culture and information. Coordinated inspection and handling of violations in the fields of press, publishing, culture, health, and education: since 1997, the ANCTNB force has coordinated to detect and handle over 2,000 cases, incidents, and cases of business violations. Transferred to competent officials for punishment, confiscating tens of billions of dong from the state budget...

TOver the years, the collective and many individuals of the PA83 department have regularly made achievements and been awarded noble titles by the Party and the State. From 2007 to 2012 alone, the unit was honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for collectives and individuals; 28 collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from Ministries, branches and the Provincial People's Committee; dozens of individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Police Director. Especially in 2013, the Presidentawarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal.
