Online seminar "Central coastal provinces join hands for development"
From 9:00 a.m. Sunday (June 10), the Government Portal in coordination with Vietnam Television Center
Lang Co Bay - The most beautiful bay in Vietnam
Occupying 1/3 of the country's coastline, with the position of the "front" of the country facing the East Sea, the Central Coast provinces have an important strategic position, being the gateway to the sea of the Central Highlands and the Mekong sub-region countries on the East-West Economic Corridor, with rich potential for developing the marine economy, tourism and services.
In recent years, based on exploiting existing potentials and strengths and strong investment from the Central Government, the provinces in the region have made great strides in development and major changes. However, the development process has also revealed weaknesses that are easy to identify but difficult to overcome.
To overcome these weaknesses and develop more and more dynamically, playing a core role in promoting growth and socio-economic development of the Central region, the most sustainable path is to link up to build a unified economic region to exploit and promote the potentials and strengths of each locality and the whole region, contributing to promoting rapid socio-economic growth and sustainable development on the basis of equal association and mutual benefit.
So how to connect to achieve high efficiency, how to strengthen the connection... and many other issues that people are interested in will be mentioned in the discussion "Central coastal provinces connect for mutual development".
Attending the seminar were representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and leaders of the Central provinces:
The seminar was broadcast online on the Government Portal, live on channel 9 VTV Danang and on channel VTC 1, VTC Digital Television Station.
