Online discussion on milk market

On the morning of April 26, the Government Portal will organize an online discussion "Milk market: Price and quality", discussing issues related to price management and quality of dairy products on the market, especially infant formula.

In the past 6-7 years, milk prices have increased 30 times, becoming a burden for consumers, as this is an essential commodity for children.

The reasons for increasing milk prices are all too familiar, such as changing labels, increasing raw materials, etc. When one company increases, another company immediately begins to apply for further price increases. In the price race, only consumers suffer the most, and sometimes the price paid does not go hand in hand with the quality.

To have a comprehensive view of the price and quality of the Vietnamese milk market, the online discussion will have the participation of representatives from the Price Management Department (Ministry of Finance); Food Safety and Hygiene Department (Ministry of Health); Market Management Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade); Hanoi Milk Joint Stock Company (Hanoimilk).
