(Baonghean.vn) - In the face of China's increasingly serious and extremely dangerous developments in the East Sea, on the morning of May 31, 2014, in Vinh city, the Nghe An Center for Social Sciences and Humanities organized a June Roundtable Discussion with the theme "Territorial sovereignty and sovereignty over seas and islands are sacred and inviolable". The delegates invited to attend and speak at the discussion were experts in politics, economics, culture and history of Nghe An province.

The delegates attending the discussion revolved around three basic issues: Affirming China's wrongful and dangerous actions that disregard international ethics and law against Vietnam's sovereignty over its seas and islands; the consequences of China's wrongful actions in economic, political, cultural and diplomatic aspects; ideological orientations for every Vietnamese citizen, especially the young generation, to express patriotism in accordance with the law, arouse and promote the strength of patriotism and attract the support of the international community for the just struggle of our people.
Experts exchanged and debated openly and frankly, consistent with the Prime Minister's viewpoint: "Vietnam absolutely does not accept trading sovereignty and territorial integrity for an illusory, dependent peace and friendship" because territorial sovereignty and sovereignty over seas and islands are sacred and inviolable.
