After receiving a report from Mr. Nguyen Van Doan (born in 1989, residing in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) that his Future Fi motorbike with license plate number: 78F1-150.15 was stolen, the detectives followed the GPS signal attached to the motorbike and discovered that the motorbike was hidden at the house of Nguyen Tan Tai (born in 1989, residing in District 8), so they invited Tai to the police station to work.

Initially, Tai confessed to buying the car from Nguyen Thanh Hoa, alias Ut (born in 1976, residing in District 8) for 6 million VND. Before that, Hoa had sold this stolen car from Hoang for 5.5 million VND.

From the statements of Tai and Hoa, the three car thieves Hoang, Chien, and Duong were caught one after another.

District 7 police have prosecuted Tai and Hoa for "receiving property obtained through criminal acts"./.
