On the afternoon of March 9, in Cua Lo Town, Syngenta Vietnam Company coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the North Central provinces to organize the "Farmers for the Community" Program in the North Central region in 2013 to honor outstanding farmers in production.

The criteria for selecting “Farmers for the Community” of the program are farmers who are responsible for the environment, for community health and for sustainable agriculture. There are 80 typical advanced farmers from 3 provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh honored in the “Farmers for the Community” Program. Over the years, Syngenta Company has cooperated with local authorities to build a system of advanced farmers in production.
Accordingly, the company has provided these farmers with knowledge of modern agricultural production to improve production knowledge, help farmers master their fields and increase income per unit of land produced. After successfully building a system of good farmers in the area, they are responsible for directly transmitting scientific and technical advances to the farming community in the area about optimal farming solutions to help increase income, health and protect the environment.
This is a modern and advanced form of production that focuses on protecting the sustainable living environment for the community. On this occasion, 80 outstanding advanced farmers from the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh were honored for their achievements in effective and environmentally safe production.
